About Tapetide
Tapetide is an AI-first stock research platform for Indian markets (NSE/BSE). We turn fragmented market data — fundamentals, technicals, FII/DII flows, shareholding, corporate actions, and news — into one fast research surface, available through a web app, an AI chat assistant (Tape AI), and an MCP server that plugs directly into AI tools like Claude and Cursor.
What you'll do
- Scan the market daily for breakouts, crossovers, RSI/MACD setups, and momentum
- Define and refine technical screening logic across price, volume, and indicators
- Track delivery %, F&O ban list, MWPL utilization, and derivatives positioning
- Build watchlists and flag actionable setups with clear entry/exit/risk levels
- Backtest signal ideas against historical OHLCV before they go live
Requirements
- 2–5 years in technical analysis, a trading desk, or systematic trading
- Deep fluency with technical indicators and chart patterns
- Comfort with backtesting logic and thinking in rules, not gut feel
- Understanding of NSE F&O mechanics (OI, MWPL, expiry dynamics)
- Discipline around risk management and position sizing
