About Tapetide

Our flagship is Tape AI — a natural-language assistant that answers questions about any stock with live charts, fundamentals, FII/DII flows, shareholding, corporate actions, and news. The same data layer also powers a fast web app and a programmatic API for developers and quants.
What you'll do
- Study daily market behaviour — breakouts, crossovers, RSI/MACD setups, momentum shifts
- Define and refine technical screening logic across price, volume, and indicators
- Analyse delivery %, F&O ban list, MWPL utilization, and derivatives positioning as research inputs
- Curate watchlists and document notable setups with the levels and invalidation points behind them
- Validate screening logic against historical OHLCV before it ships to users
Requirements
- 2–5 years in technical analysis, market research, or systematic signal research
- Deep fluency with technical indicators and chart patterns
- Comfort with backtesting logic and thinking in rules, not gut feel
- Understanding of NSE F&O mechanics (OI, MWPL, expiry dynamics)
- Clear written communication — you can explain why a signal fired

- Python for research and backtesting (pandas, TA-Lib, vectorbt)
- NISM Series VIII
- Charting platforms and Pine-style scripting
